Android phones are evolving day by day, offering more options. At an event held by Motorola in China today, the company announced the mid-range competitor moto S50 Neo, alongside the razr 50 series. Here are the features and price of Motorola’s newly introduced moto S50 Neo:
moto S50 Neo offers sufficient performance with Snapdragon 6s Gen 3
Introduced by Motorola, the new moto S50 Neo is a complete price-performance device for the mid-range segment. Starting with the processor, this new Android phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. It comes with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and storage options of 256GB or 512GB UFS 2.2.
On the display side, it features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ panel with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, capable of 120Hz refresh rate and reaching up to 1600 nits brightness. The phone runs on Android 14-based My UX operating system and is IP54 certified for water resistance.
The device sports a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, macro, and depth sensor. On the front, it comes with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It also offers a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W turbocharging for sufficient usage.
moto S50 Neo is available in blue, green, and gray color options, priced at $192 for the 8GB + 256GB model, $220 for the 12GB + 256GB version, and $261 for the 12GB + 512GB model. The phone is currently launched in the Chinese market and is expected to be released in countries like India in July as moto G85 5G. Unfortunately, moto S50 Neo will not be available for sale in Turkey.
